This Saturday I was in Charlotte for Laddy & Craig’s wedding and I truly consider it a tremendous honor to be a part of this incredible event. I’ve know Laddy for a while now as she’s actually a photographer as well
This is going to be another long post as their wedding was full of custom and tradition as it was a Laotian wedding, a first for me, but something I really embraced and enjoyed. And I just loved that I got to travel, definitely something I look forward to doing more.
First we start with not one, not two but three gorgeous pairs of shoes for this amazing bride. After all she did change three times….jpg)

Of course there is a lot that I’m omitting here as it was a long day filled with a lot of details, photographs, prelude and ceremony. We then moved on to the ceremony.

The tying of the strings was to give them well wishes, it was very moving for me to see…

The absolutely wonderful, new couple…
Shortly after this, Laddy changed into her 2nd Laotian dress, she and Craig then had their first “traditional Laotian hand dance”…

One more photo of the amazing cake, especially for you Laddy![]()

Finally, Laddy changed into a “traditional American” wedding dress and they had a “traditional” first dance as well (which was absolutely beautiful).
I loved her hands sitting so peacefully in her lap as she was getting her hair re-done for her 3rd change of clothes. Especially with all the “well wishes” tied around her wrists as well.

Laddy & Craig, thank you so much for allowing me into your lives. I hope you have the most amazing time in Hawaii…A hui hou kakou, Mahalo!
