{Give} One Year of Portraits Donated…Chapel Hill Portrait Photographer

I have struggled tremendously in the past few months with the conflict in the world, seeing the damage from weather, violence and everything in between.  Knowing that I cannot and do not have the ability to just leave my life and go to another country to help, I have wanted to help in almost any way possible (we do have a friend who will spend more than 1/2 of this year in Haiti as he’s a doctor – his work has been amazing & heartbreaking to watch).

Instead, what I can do is give my time.  From now until October 31, 2010 there will be NO portrait session fees! In turn, I do request that a donation to Doctors Without Borders be made for your session.  My request is that you donate a minimum of $35 per session.  Why $35?  According to Doctor’s Without Borders site: A $35 donation can provide “Two high-energy meals a day to 200 children.”   For all donations made over $100, you will receive a matted 11×14 print (valued at $100).

There are a few details:

1.  Sessions must be booked and completed by October 31, 2011 (2011 order cut-off is Friday, November 11, 2011).

2.  Must provide proof of donation at session booking.

3.  Sessions will ONLY occur Monday-Friday (unfortunately we will likely not be able to accommodate any weekend sessions in 2011, you can try when booking but we make no promises).

4.  Sessions will take place within 10 miles of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and will last for approximately 30 minutes.

5.  Cannot be combined with other discounts or offers and cannot use gift certificates for this.

6.  This applies to maternity, children & family portrait sessions.  Boudoir sessions are also welcome with this offer however we request a minimum $150 donation (a $150 hair & makeup fee will be an additional cost).

Have a wonderful day!

What a beautiful thing to do Robin, and such a worthy cause. Perhaps our family will have to take advantage of this.
