I LOVE TREATS!!!! Our favorite around here are these delicious pumpkin muffins with delicious cream cheese surprise in the middle and a yummy spiced crumble topping! With COFFEE. Mmmmmmmmmmm.
This is perfect, while my wife has recently delved into her Christmas movie wonderland that is December, I’ve been her co-viewer in Polar Express, original and new Grinch, Eloise, White Christmas, original and new Miracle on 34th? Street, and The Santa Clause (over and over again). Last night I sit down and no christmas movie is playing. I asked why. She said, “Nothing is on but that National Lampoon movie.” She had never seen it! I told her it was one of my favorites and right up my movie style lane. I loved it, not sure she was impressed.
As far as my favorite holiday cookie is definitely the snikerdoodle, can’t be bear. Although I do love the ginger bread man in Shrek. Favorite desert, and kind of cake or pie that is decorated festively. I think the more fun it looks, the better it tastes. My favorite treat is known to me only as ‘Grandma Candy’. I have no idea where to buy it or where she gets it, but I love them. It is a hard candy assortment that looks like ribbons and things. They have their own unique flavor. Very delicious.
Frosted cut-out cookies… pizzelles…. date balls…. italian wedding cookies… almond horns, okay, sadly, I think I can’t decide – I love all kinds of christmas cookies
nothing is better than some hot chocolate with cookies….sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies…doesn’t matter what kind!
Hmmm…so many choices. I love peppermint bark and it’s hard to beat a homemade sugar cookie with icing!
Mmm.. lots of favorite cookies we MUST make, but I’m going with Candy cane cookies. They look so festive on the plate.. and when you’re done making candy canes, you can make whatever. My kids and I are really great at being silly and this is a good outlet for that.
