Kristen & John had a fabulous wedding. It’s that simple. All the months of planning, everything was totally worth it, and I’m really lucky that I was involved. It was a really beautiful ceremony in a really pretty church and the reception was absolutely elegant at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh. Everyone involved that day from Kristie Taylor at Brier Creek to the fabulous Cinda’s Creative Cakes, Perfect Day DJ (and video) and the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid – everyond did such an amazing job. And a huge thank you to my second photographer, Dan Glasgow, who really helped me that day.

I was pretty sure this little ring-bearer wanted to take my job…
I always feel awkward shooting prayers – during ceremonies & private times. But I feel like they are important moments. The ladies wanted to have a prayer right before the ceremony and I really appreciated the moment. I always try to wait for “Amen” and snap just one.
I really like this next image. I always follow my couple’s after the ceremony. I turned and saw what the light was doing and knew it would be elegant.
They had two really cool cars for their wedding. The first, an Excalibur to transport them from the church to the reception. Their getaway car…a gorgeous Rolls Royce. Gotta love it!
