Album Design

Our philosophy for album design is simple.  We want you (and your clients) to love your design in thirty years as much as you do today.  We don’t do anything fancy or overly complicated, simple and clean is what we love and what we do.  We work with the files you send us, your client requests and your specifications to create a custom album you will love providing to your client.  To get more information or enroll to be a client, simply click HERE.

For all designs we provide:

• Hi-Res layered .psd images upon project completion;
• Hi-Res .jpg files upon project completion;
• Quick turnaround – our goal is to always provide you with your initial design or revisions within five (5) business days of receipt of images (or changes) (please note that certain holidays & peak seasons will require additional time for designs).

 Guest Sign-In Book Design – $125

• Square album design
• 1-2 images per page/2-4 per spread
• Simple, clean design for up to 15 spreads
• Two rounds of edits/changes
• Additional rounds of edits/changes at the rate of $25/each additional round
• Additional spreads available at the rate of $10/spread

 Album Design – Beginning at $175

• Simple, clean design for up to 20 spreads
• Three rounds of edits/changes
• Integration of black & white and color images as requested
• Additional rounds of edits/changes at the rate of $25/each additional round
• Additional spreads available at the rate of $10/spread

FAQs

• How do I submit files?
  In our initial stages we recommend using YouSendIt, Box.net or other similar service.  You are welcome to mail us a USB thumb drive.  We will have an FTP server set up in the very near future.
• How many images do you recommend we send?
  For guest albums we recommend around 15-25.  For our 20 spread albums we recommend approximately 60 images.
• What if my bride wants to use 100 images?
  We’ll work with you to either narrow down her selections, design more pages or find a fit that makes everyone satisfied.  We will always keep you involved in the design process and let you know if we have any questions.
• What file formats do you need?
  Please only send hi-res .jpgs.
• My bride wants an entirely black & white album, can you make the conversions for us?
  Absolutely!  We can easily use our special “recipe” for black & white and convert any images you need converted.
• Do you offer retouching?
  We happily offer minor retouching complimentary with any album design.  Minor retouching includes minor blemish removal.  Additional retouching is available, please inquire for rates.

Policies

• Payment is due at the time of project completion.  Final files will not be sent until full payment has been made.
• All projects are considered final after 30 days if no changes/edits have been made at which time full payment is due.
• It is the photographer’s responsibility to provide all specifications for their album company.  Robin Lin Photography and Design is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete information regarding edge, cut, safety or margin lines.
